Scoutfish
OUCH! Those words are a basic tennet of speaking in the south. It's also a greeting made to a group of males by an individual male. Speaking of, it reminds me of a joke I heard once , and happen to have some fact behind it: Q: What is the mating call of a southern woman? A: "I'm sooooo drunk!" d1angel
It's even worse if "Hey, watch this!" is immediately followed by "I saw this on YouTube!"

Oak Tree
Also, "Got a minute?" [the usual prelude into some type of adult dispute] "Hear about Jimmy?" [the after-action report that follows a "Hey, watch this!" episode]

shortridge
From a parental perspective: "What are you doing?" (called down the hallway) (loooong pause) "Nothin' " .... (followed by me walking down the hallway to discover a giant mess in the bedroom)

SR540Beaver
SSScout, Depending on where you live, it's four words. Hey y'all, watch this! Away from scouting it is followed by three more words, hold ma beer.
Deaf Scouter
How about six words: 'Is it supposed to do this?".. *grins
DLChris71
"Where's Collin?" This was actually said during our pinewood derby. And after a 15 minutes we found him, another cub, and a webelos off in the woods trying to climb an abandoned, derelict tree house...the woods of course being off limits. drmbear
It's why I've been reading the "Darwin Awards" books with my boy. These kinds of phrases typically proceed acts that have won awards (and removed them from the gene pool).
