insanescouter
I was called out the year after the tap outs were done away with. I was and am still very disappointed. I personally as a Scout and even now having seen both prefer the tap out ceremony. However because Scouts, etc were getting to rough (ie what they called hazing or so I am told) they had to change it. Yes I have seen some that were way to rough and something needed to be done, and yes some Scouts did get hurt even broken bones. At least that is what I have heard. So I do understand why the changed but still .... if you know what I mean... Anyway back to my original thread - I am still looking for resources to help teach our Scouts about hazing what it is, and what it can do. For example I recently heard a story about a girl that was hazed so bad she committed suicided, supposedly it was in all the papers at the time.
