Wolf Leader in NY

Hi all. My name is Kathy. I think my love of scouting started when I was a kid and watched my Brother's in the pinewood derby. I then learned the handshake. My Girl Scout leaders had abandoned us so I think I wanted to learn anything I could.

 

My Son is not very athletic so I suggested Scouting to him. The cubmaster dropped off an application for me, I said I would be a leader if needed and we are now in year two.

 

I just got back from Wood badge weekend 1 and am looking forward to weekend 2.

I started as a Tiger Den Leader last year.

Seems like you dived right into it if you are only in year two and already taking woodbadge. Those scouts are lucky to have a den leader so trained. I am sure it will allow you to bring wonderful energy to the the program for them.

I'm a Wolf DL too this year. Woodbadge starts in Feb 2011 for me. My wife is the Tiger DL. Still trying to talk her in to going to WB. She's wants to go but with kids it's about scheduling.
