1: first you have to be in charge if the boys see that you go easly with anything they will take advantage of you.

2: be stong but not to strict remember you want to be there friend not there enemy.

3: Respect the boys and there opinions and there decisions

4: set a good example if the boys see you running around like a preschooler they will do it to.

5: if you have any problems talk to your adult leader or somone that can take care of the problem.

I am not sure what your message is wesman.

 

What does the "patrol method" mean to you? I get the impression that you misunderstand what the patrol method is.

 

It sounds to me like you are giving advice on how to be a good patrol leader, and that is a different topic all together.
