mmhardy
Our council contingent troop is requiring all medical forms to be submitted in mid February. Is your council requiring the same? They give the rational is to review the documents. Thats about 6 months ahead of the event. Seems odd.
emb021
Staff members are required to send theirs in by March 1, so no, its not strange.
Horizon
Our contingent from Southern California is requiring it as well. Costing me some money since it has not been a year since my son's last physical. I have to get mine done for staff as well.
twoeagles
What we have done in my family is any type of physical (BSA & DOT), BSA training (that expires in two years) we take care of in January or February when things are not as busy. Tokala
National has requested that ALL medicals be filed by March 1. They need time to review them prior to arrival.
VigilEagle
You have to remember too, that all the physicals this year are bar-coded to allow National to have your physical electronically. It's going to take someone some time to upload 40,000 physicals into a computer...
