Speedy's DAD
I have a number of younger Scouts that are under 60 inches tall. Is the Doctor's assesment, that the Scout's weight is proportionally appropriate, acceptable or is a body fat percentage measurement required since he isn't on the chart? This is for Summer Camp but we want the forms to be acceptable for any activity. (We don't currently do any high adventure.)
The Blancmange
See the FAQ's on the national website: http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/HealthandSafety/Resources/MedicalFormFAQs.aspx Subtract 6 pounds for each inch under 60".
Speedy's DAD
Thank you. That was exactly what I was looking for. It also answered a number of other questions my Troops parents had.

acco40
I jsut turned 55 and went to the doctor last week and he gave me a clean bill of health including a comment was that my weight was optimal! The only thing he recommended for better health was to grow a few inches.
