tolpel
I am a researcher doing a project on the legacy of Daniel Boone upon the Boy Scouts of America. In 1914 the National Council published a book by Everett Tomlinson titled, Scouting With Daniel Boone. An abridged form appeared in a serial in Boys' Life magazine from June 1914 to January 1915. An essay contest asked scouts to tell what qualities of Boone "made him a good scout and a valuable citizen." First and second place entries were to be published in Boys' Life magazine. Those winning entries, as published sometime in 1915, are what I seek. Any scouter out there have access to an archive collection of 1915 Boys; Life magazines ??? Thank you.
