sunsetscout
Hello Everyone, I am a 5 year scouter in Michigan. I have a son who will be crossing over into Boy Scouts in February and a daughter who will be bridging into Juniors in the spring. This along with my 6 month old daughter and 8 year old stepson! I am trying to step away from unit leadership roles in Boy Scouts and focus more on District duties. I know already that I will have a hard time staying in the shadows. I have that problem that probably most people here have...The "can't say no" syndrome. I am getting better at it, but I still find myself "volunteering" for things. But no matter what I complain about, I wouldn't trade my time in scouts with my kids for anything. Sorry that I ran long, just wanted to say HI. CA_Scouter
Amen Brother. Welcome. Your good intentions are admirable, but be sure you are protective of your family and allow others to participate. You may do them more service by doing less than doing more. Just my $0.02...
