Newbie Den Leader
Greetings from North Texas: I was a Boy Scout during the mid-70's and after 28 years of inactivity, I've made my way back into Scouting as an Adult Leader. My son just started Cub Scouting and I followed him into it. It's good to be back and be a part of the Scouting movement. I have alot of catching up to do, but it's gonna' be fun. Trevorum
WELCOME from Austin! I followed the same path, rejoining when my 1st son was a Wolf. He's now planning his Eagle project. It has been a terrific ride as an adult Scouter, and I know I have many more years in front of me! One word of advice: Wood Badge! (OK, that's two words. But do it!) SemperParatus
Welcome back. I think you'll find that scouting has changed very little over the past three decades and is still one of the best programs available to engage youth (and their dads and moms). Have fun with your son and den!
