Centreville Scout
I would like a system where you could have an automatic signature be placed on your messages so you wouldn't have to write it all the time.
acco40
Uh, seems to me that the author is listed on the left of every post. Why the need for a signature line?
hops_scout
And you would be?
cajuncody
I would just like to see everyone fill in their location. That way I know if I am close enough to another scouter to lend a hand with out posting and waiting for a response. Kristi
SR540Beaver
Many bulletin board systems have a feature where you can put an avatar (small picture like the BSA logo or a beaver) that shows beside your name and a sig line where you can put a favorite quote or something like EagleDad's closing line of "I love this scouting stuff, Barry". Whenever you post, the sig line is automatically added to the end of your post. Many people just post and have no closing line. Others do. I'd say that based on Centreville Scout's experience on other boards, he would like to see that feature here. I don't think the software that this board uses offers those features, but I could be wrong. It has been known to happen once or twice.
bbng
You might have more success in getting a response if you were to (1) not shout at Scouter Terry (all caps indicates shouting in case you didn't know), and (2) if you were not to demand an answer but instead were to ask for something on the forums or to send a PM to him.
