ps56k
In looking over some Scouting and related websites, I was curious what screen size folks are mostly using ? Anyway, was wondering what folks are using, and do they run full-screen browser, or reduced ? Here's my grouping - Dell desktop - 800x600 Dell laptop - 1024 x 768 Toshiba laptop - 800x600 IBM thinkpad - 1024x768
scoutldr
I;m not much of a techie, but I notice in the last 2 days, my browser (IE6) resets the text size to "Medium" whenever I close it. When I reopen Scouter.com, I have to reset the text to "Largest". Other web sites don't seem to be doing this. I'm running a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. As my mother in law says, these things have a mind of their own sometimes.
EagleInKY
1024 x 768 on everything.
NIscouter
I also run at the higher (1024 x 768) resolution. I alwyas have to reset my IE to "large" as it never remembers. Then I have to dset it to "smaller" to make sure it prints properly. It's alwyas something, isn't it :>

SemperParatus
I supersize it. Either that or I have to sit on the other side of the room to see it.
KurtB
All of the Web sites that I designed are scaled to fit on a 800x600 display. My PC settings are: 1024x768 on the laptop (no external monitor) 1280x1024 on the laptop (17" monitor attached) 1600x1200 on the desktop computer (19" monitor) That way I have more desktop area to work with. I usually have IE, Firefor, Dreamweaver, and something else open at the same time. So far, the eyes can handle it, but I am sure that will change eventually. SWScouter
My home computers are running at 1280x1024, so does my laptop when connected to a monitor. Just the laptop by itself runs at 1024x768. I can't imagine working with less than that anymore.
