billjones
I'm planning a Troop Open House for 5th and 6th graders and their parents. Does anyone have ideas for or an existing information sheet they've given to parents at the open house? Are there any discussion points that I should be sure to cover during my talk with the parents? EagleInKY
We put together a "parents handbook" that sort of explains scouting and how our troop works. It's not perfect, and I've re-written it a couple of times (and probably will again before next year). An annual calendar is a must. Show the boys what your troop does. Sell the adventure to the boys. Sell the values to the parents.
