RememberSchiff
The Resource Stewardship Scout Ranger program is a partnership between the National Park Service and the Boy Scouts of America. The program invites Scouts and Cub Scouts to participate in educational and/or volunteer service projects at national park sites. These activities spark their awareness of the national parks and provide Scouts with the opportunity to explore their national parks and learn more about protecting our natural and cultural resources. Scouts are awarded certificates and/or patches after meeting certain requirements of the program. AwakeEnergyScouter
Our pack planned our calendar for 2023-2024 to create the opportunity for our scouts to earn this badge! We're hitting up all the NPS parks within driving distance plus a few printable junior ranger awards that relate to our nature in this part of the country ♥️

They and up to three people (family members?) with them have free access to National Parks, certain features, and a long list of other federal properties such as historic sites and preserves. So, not only can your Webelos get in free but so can their siblings in other ranks. You may have already known about this but just in case not...
AwakeEnergyScouter
I read about this, but didn't think of how it would apply to the pack! Good call. Thanks for reminding me! First park is in two weeks so just in time 😄
