LoganM
I found these light blue/teal shoulder loops in the Troop closet. I am wondering what these signify or if there just custome event loops.
MattR
Welcome to the forum, @LoganM. I've never seen loops that color. My guess is some parent made them, either not knowing or having some fun.
malraux
Blue loops and bleaching? But given the evenness, I would assume some custom event.
LoganM
Someone in my troop has the same color ones but with a lodge totem on it. He says he got it at conclave but these dont have any markings. Edited June 24, 2022 by LoganM
Tron
Interesting, I searched this up on the internet and found a possible explanation. Apparently BS Canada uses that color for their Venture Rank. I also saw some unofficial mention of lower ranking cubs having worn matching colors of their neckerchief at one time (Did the cub blue uniforms have Epaulet tabs at one time?). I did see mention of Gold Epaulets in this link http://www.scoutinsignia.com/loops.htm concerning national youth representatives and AO.
