This evening section and lodge leaders at the National Council of Chiefs attended a presentation by the Project Magellan task force. The Project Magellan task force is charged with assessing the impact of the Boy Scouts of America’s restructuring on the Order of the Arrow’s operations, as well as, if deemed necessary, provide recommendations for how the Order might respond.

During this presentation, lodge and section leaders provided feedback on a draft prototype design for the OA’s new structure. This design is a draft prototype idea and no changes have been made to the OA’s structure at this time. More information can be found at https://oa-bsa.org/magellan

Some interesting things brought up in the FAQ's.

As a long time Arrowman (in excess of 50 years) I have seen a lot of things change over that time, some for the better, some not so much.  Change is a part of life.  Hopefully what ever comes out of Project Magellan will only serve to strengthen the OA and reinforce the positive impact it has on BSA.
