scoutldr
So my circa 2006 Gateway Win Vista laptop finally died and I've resorted back to my more modern desktop running Win 10. Trying to use scouter.com is very painful now...literally 30 seconds with each mouse click while all the ads load. Video ads embedded in individual posts??? Is that what we are doing now? The little bar at the lower left corner always says "Waiting for www.scouter.com".... Am I doing something wrong? This is unusable in its current state. I would pay a nominal fee if there was a premium ad-free version. I hate to complain, because I do appreciate the efforts of @ScouterTerry over these past many years.
MikeS72
The lack of speed seems to be new today. I have had no issues reading or posting lately, including yesterday.
RememberSchiff
No we appreciate the reports. Thanks. We too noticed the slow performance yesterday. Terry is working the problem... @MattR@John-in-KC Edited March 25, 2021 by RememberSchiff
The Latin Scot
I had noticed the very same thing; it took me five minutes to get logged on this morning. It seems to be working much better now though already.
qwazse
The “ad drag” I insufferable. I’ll be back when things are rendered quickly.
eagle90
It is taking about 45 seconds or so to load the program and then 30-45 seconds between pages. Very frustrating. Dale
5thGenTexan
Yep. Still slow here too.
scoutldr
Just got my brand new Dell fired up...logging into Scouter.com generates a popup ad that WILL NOT go away...very annoying.
SSScout
Ditto the above. Slow to load, ads do not release when "close" or "x" or "No Thanks" clicked for 30 or more seconds. AND I have to wind the spring on the back of my laptop more often.....
