Recipe for that is the top of this thread. I did use black eyed peas instead of the kidney beans and pintos. Also... I think it probably needs a bit more "heat" . Fumpster Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 I do this recipe but also add rice. Rice plus beans equals complete protein. I have done it vegetarian and with ground beef or turkey. We like to add tortilla chips, cheddar cheese, plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream) and green onions to garnish. Pickled jalapeños are a nice addition too.
