qwazse
It's been a while since I've seen ads on the forums. They seem to be back with this latest upgrade. l'm ambivalent toward efficiently placed sales pitches. Don't clog up my reading/writing experience and you can sell whatever you want. What's the new policy? For folks whose business might be scouts and scouters, how do they get in on the action.?
cgail
I understand the need to monetize any site, but it's a bit intrusive to me so far.
eagle90
Let's try to get appropriate ads. The latest one for bras and lingerie doesn't seem right for a Scout forum.

I was wondering when the buxom models selling custom tshirt printing would appear. Pages here are loading more slowly. If it continues, no problem. There are other forums. walk in the woods
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, I suspect the ads are user context specific. Mine are about data security and bulk used golf balls. Stuff I've searched on lately.

Eagledad
I have one that is warning me that this site has political content. I’m curious what it’s marketing, but I don’t want to select it. I’ll trade it for lingerie or golf balls. Barry
skeptic
Not seeing any ads, so not sure to what others refer. I do keep ad blockers on my computer though.

Sentinel947
It's definitely based on things you search for outside the forum. The ads are not terrible on a computer, but are overly intrusive on mobile.
TAHAWK
Went on line to check the menu at a local Mexican restaurant a few weeks ago, and now we get constant on-line ads for vacationing in Mexico, Artificial intelligence is pretty dim.
qwazse
The persistent banner ads for Boy Scout compensation fund are getting old. Any way the forum can charge them double and send them to troubled camps?
