Eamonn
While the rules may differ from Lodge to Lodge. In our Lodge if you can provide some type of proof that you did what you say you did, they will welcome you back. We only ask that you pay this years dues. I have heard of others that back date them. Someone in the Council Service Center ought to be able to help you or put you in contact with someone in the Lodge. Hope this helps. Eamonn. boleta
Blue Heron Lodge only asks that you pay your current dues and complete the application. A scout is trustworthy. I cannot imagine someone would want to pay the dues and join if they were not already Ordeal. I guess someone out there would, though.
SouthPoleScout
Ditto to what Boleta said. We've welcomed 3 or 4 members back into the brotherhood this year. Just asked that they pay the current dues. They've all been gung-ho and super helpful all year. And its been great hearing how things worked in the lodges they're from originally.
Aardvark
Ditto again! Ordeal in '66 and Brotherhood in '67. Just joined the local lodge after a LOOOOONG hiatus-no problems! As said, "A Scout is Trustworthy"!
