Popular Post mashmaster
This morning I was paid in full with extra for my time as Scoutmaster. I got this message from a parent 🙂 Thank you again. and thank you for ALLLLLL you have done for our boys. You've helped shape and model and teach and create memories that will always be with my son. There are no words to tell you what/how much that means to me, but you are a parent so I'm sure you have an idea of what i'm talking about. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

AVTech
Last summer, I got a handwritten thank you card from a 12 year old Scout. He thanked me for taking a week off of work to be at summer camp with him and the rest of the boys in the Troop. It's the little things, right? 2

Sentinel947
Would make a fun topic if it hasn't been done before. "Scoutmaster's paycheck."
Jameson76
Got a nice note after camp a couple of weeks ago for our camp SPL thanking me for helping him with leadership lessons at camp. Also his mom wrote a note and thanked me for still being involved and being a leader even though my son aged out a few years ago We get the handshakes and thank yous in the parking lot, but the actual note or e-mail means a great deal 1
Sentinel947
I think I've posted this recently, but my most recent Scouters paycheck was after NYLT, the SPL of our course gave me a hug and told me (paraphrasing) "I'm glad you were here, You need to come back next year, and you'll make a great Scoutmaster someday." Pretty high praise from a Scout I've only known for 5 months or so. I do really like emails or letters as @Jameson76 said. Helps my terrible memory hold on to things.
