Volunteers are still employees and should still follow orders of supervisors and if not, they can be "fired" (asked to leave). Volunteers do not mean "free" workers as mentioned above they still get housing, food, insurance, etc... While a volunteer should follow directions from an organization superior and can be sent home, neither fact makes that volunteer an "employee." For the sake of volunteers and councils, we don't want to get into "housing, food, etc." Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
