zaktansky23
Hello all. I am the Course Director for the 2004 Brownsea Junior Leadership Training Course in the Susquehanna Council (Central PA). The course has made major positive changes in the lives of the youth who have taken it -- I know because I was one. For this year's course, I developed a website. If you could check it out, I'm trying to get feedback listed on our site forum. Also, if you have taken Junior Leader Training in your council, we have a Brownsea Alumni forum to share positive stories and experiences. I feel its a very good interactive site, but would love your feedback on it. Check it out at www.brownsea22.com Thanks so much! Fuzzy Bear
Your site is impressive. It is good advertisement and should reach many directly and indirectly. My one suggestion is to post a personal journal because you mentioned that there were those that positively profited from the experience. Write something from your experience about the highlights and/or what was learned. You did a great job. FB
zaktansky23
Thanks for your feedback. There is information/stories from past participants. I started a forum on our forum page labeled "Brownsea Alumni". My story is posted there and actually someone from Pittsburgh has put in a story about his experiences in a JLT course in the past. PLease check it out and let me know if it is working properly. If you have any more feedback, feel free to leave it on our site forum. Thanks a lot John Zaktansky Watsontown, PA 2004 Brownsea JLT Scoutmaster www.brownsea22.com

zaktansky23
Barry, Hello. I didn't realize they had a new BJLT course coming out next fall. I know they periodically update the syllabus for training, but I didn't think any major changes were coming. I guess we'll check out what National has to offer and then make a decision. However, our current course is incredibly good. It has affected many in a very positive way. I suggest you check out our forum on the site: www.brownsea22.com under "Brownsea Alumni" and the "2004 Brownsea Staff" sections. This is only a small sample of stuff that is said about our course.
