1. Has anybody else had difficulty trying to log in and change their web pages recently (today being 1-19-04)?

 

2. Does anybody remember who to e-mail in case of such difficulties? (webmaster@scouter.com or someplace else)?

I too have been trying to login for the past 3 days without success. I have emailed Scouter.com and no response.

Earlier today, I noted 1251 users. The site may have reached capacity.

 

I also noted that writing seems to rely on fewer numbers.

 

Many read but few write. Now some can do neither.

 

Have you ever tried the search feature? It has not worked once.

With regards to how many people are actively using the system, I have tried to log in to the web page update when there were only 270 users on the system.

 

If memory serves me, I had the same problems around the same time last year. Unfortunately it occurs at a time when I really need to access my pages, due to Pinewood Derby and Blue & Gold updates.

 

Anybody know of any other freebie web space for Scouting pages??

That problem has been resolved. It looks like we were having a login problem with about 1/3rd of the accounts, which were all hosted on a server that was failing. Fixed now. Enjoy.
