howarthe
Our new Cubmaster is very excited about scouting. He speaks with great fondess of his times as a scout including his time as an arrowman. Is an arrowman always an arrowman? Could he join the lodge here in his new home? Or does he need to be tapped out again as an adult scouter? qwazse
He does not need to be tapped out. The local lodge chief or advisor should be able to tell him where/how to send his dues to re activate his membership.
WAKWIB
I'll second what qwazse said. Our lodge has an online portal on the council site to do that (your lodge may have one as well), or he can just attend a lodge event and can probably take care of business there. scoutldr
In our lodge, there is an online dues form. It's a simple thing to print out the form and send in a check for the current years dues. He will need to be able to provide the dates of his Ordeal and Brotherhood membership (as applicable) and the lodge in which he was tapped out. Once his check is cashed, he can sew on the flap and hopefully become active in the chapter and lodge.
jr56
Just like scoutldr said, In my lodge you fill out the history of where and when you were inducted, pay your current years dues, plus 1 dollar to bring them current. Then, you are a member in good standing within the lodge.
