Nitoragro
I know JASM have the same duty as assistant scoutmasters but at summer camp does that still hold? Such as do they get the adult meals and restroom privileges?
qwazse
Depends on the troop and the boy. Camp rules may treat JASMs as youth. They would not use adult restrooms
Stosh
< 18 years old, youth, > 18 yers old, adult. Has nothing to do with the patch on the sleeve or the duty assigned. Stosh
Sentinel947
JASM is a youth position for Scouts under 18. For YPT reasons they still use Youth facilities. Assistant Scoutmaster is an adult volunteer position for 18+. People confuse the two and try to make recently aged out 18 year olds JASMs.
perdidochas
I would say no to both. JASMs are youth. They are under 18 and CANNOT share restroom facilities with adults per YPT. I've never been to a full summer camp as an adult, but the three days I did go to, adult meals were the same as youth meals.
