Scouter.Com Edit Message Problems?

Am I the only one havin' edit message problems? Every time I try to edit a post, I get:

 

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

 

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]

Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '.'.

 

/forums/forumLibrary.asp, line 260

 

Anyone else havin' this issue?

I get the same message, too, once in a while.

It's a pain in the butt.

 

If you need to make an edit, you will have to replace every instance of the single quote or apostrophe with two single quotes.

 

example:

 

I think that''s a dumb idea but I can''t do anything about it.

 

 

And no, don't just use the double quote key.

Yep, same problem. I copy and paste my message into Word, delete the message I'm trying to edit, then paste my message from Word into a new one.

 

Easier than trying to find every cotton' pickin' apostrophe and then STILL get that &*()*& message!
