Theme for Cancelled 1979 Iran WSJ?

The 1979 World Jamboree in Nishapur, Iran was cancelled with about 8 months to go before it opened (Boys' life was still encouraging scouts to sign up in the October 1978 issue, and announced the cancellation in their February 1979 issue and the Jamboree was scheduled for July).

 

For other Jamborees, the themes have definitely been picked more than a year in advance, does anyone know where I can find information on what the theme was for the 1979 WSJ?

I believe the theme for the cancelled 1979 World Jamboree was Join-in-Jamboree.

The Join-in-Jamboree was the theme of the World Jamboree Year created by WOSM in regards to 1979 after the cancellation of the Iran WSJ. There were multiple World Jamboree year camps including in the US, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and elsewhere. I'm looking for the theme that the Jamboree in Iran had before it was cancelled.

Actually, I believe that WOSM used the same theme it had already announced for Iran - if you look around, you'll find official Iran World Jamboree items produced with the Iran World Jamboree logo using that theme.

Hopefully, the theme wasn't "Renounce the Great Satan, America as a Hostage in the Basement of the U.S. Embassy."
