Greetings...I have a question...

Recommended Posts

You know, we arent too far apart from each other when you think about it.... I'm from just outside of St Louis. There are a couple of people on here from the Kansas City area. Do you have an msn account? If so, go here.... http://groups.msn.com/boyscouts

We go in here and talk in a chat room. You're more than welcome to join us. I'm in there now, if you want, but not for much longer.

Hi Tamegonit,

Welcome.

Many of us "Old Folks" Well me anyway do really want to have your take on the stuff that we spend so much of our time on.

So please don't go.

We do want you here.

Be careful there are a few on this forum who have been known to pull the odd leg.

Greetings and welcome, Tamegonit. My Indian name is Getweschwelome (I think I just mis-spelled it.)

Scouts are more than welcome here and serve as a reminder to adults to mind their manners.

Please post as you see fit and read that which interests you. Don't let disagreement among Scouters bother you and feel free to send private messages if you don't feel like posting your questions.

I do think you should keep some internet safety in mind -- don't give our your full name and don't publicly post your email address. Not everyone on these boards is a Scouter. While I believe that trust is a big part of trustworthy, I also believe in caution.

Having said that, welcome to the campfire.

Hi!

and WELCOME!

We would LOVE to have more 'scouts' on this board! and as HopsScout mentioned, we would love to see you on the MSN board / chat as well.

the MSN board is not as active as this one, and IS commercially sponsored by MSN - so please do use caution - but you will see many of the same people in both places, because they have chat capabilities this board doesn't have. the complement each other.

As a scout leader and parent of a 13 yr old 'almost' Star - i am always interested in the opinions and views from your side of the program. Hops has been very active here, and his comments always provide great thought provoking perspectives for me. My son talks to me, of course, but he is MY kid, and we often think alike - so it's nice to hear an honest opinion from someone NOT in the center of our troop. Don't ever be afraid of 'offending' someone by an 'honest' answer - after all, every adult here is in scouting primarily because of the boys, and second, because WE have a good time, too! We need to learn from YOU!
