fgoodwin
Is anyone going to the National Meeting this year? It will be held near Dallas. I will be there and attending the Religious Relationships Committee Meeting. cajuncody
don't forget the first ever National Pinewood Derby. If my son (fingers crossed) gets his car chosen to go you can bet we will be there with bells on. Kristi
Trevorum
Fred, unless work throws me a last-minute curve, I'll be there and I'm looking forward to meeting you!
John-in-KC
Fred, Werk is the curse of the (insert activity here) man. Most of the office is on a beta test for new software through the 27th, but I'm trying to get the resources together to be at PTC for relationships week. Proud Eagle
My OA lodge has been invited to send representatives to accept the E. Urner Goodman Camping Award. We are planning on sending a group of 2-3 adults and 2-3 youth. We figure this is sort of a once in a lifetime sort of thing. Due to the extreme cost of airfare to Dallas, I think our guys are going to be taking a road trip. They don't plan on being at the meeting other than the dinner to accept the award (that is the only part they are invited to). If anyone has any ideas about what a mixed group of youth and adults could do in the Dallas area at that time I would be open to it. I personally will not be with the group. I will be attending National Camp School that week. Otherwise I would certainly go.
gavvin
Is this something that you must be invited to attend or can you just drop in? Living in the Dallas area would make it very easy for me to swing by and see what is going on.
fgoodwin
I don't know -- you need to ask your DE (or SE). The meetings & training are for registered attendees only, but its possible the exhibits may be open to the public.
