GSUSA is delighted to announce the July 15th launch of Girl Scouts of the USA's newly designed Web site (http://www.girlscouts.org). With its fresh, updated look, and more intuitive structure, I hope you'll find the new site easy to navigate, useful as a resource, and fun to use. You can expect some new and exciting features on the site, along with a few robust enhancements of some tried-and-true favorites. As with all Web development, continued enhancements will be forthcoming and we will look to you for ongoing input and suggestions for new content. Enjoy! a.. We're thrilled to launch our brand new site for girls 5-11 called Girls Only (http://www.gogirlsonly.org'>http://www.gogirlsonly.org), which takes the place of our Just 4 Girls site. Please be sure to reset your bookmark to this fun-and safe-place for girls to play games, read stories, ask Dr. M questions, answer polls, and more. If your council Web site currently links to Just 4 Girls, please change the link from http://jfg.girlscouts.org to http://www.gogirlsonly.org on July 15, 2004. a.. Girl Scout Central is a new online area designed to answer all of your Girl Scout-related questions. The alphabetical index serves as a quick reference to valuable information for all Girl Scout members and councils, as well as individuals interested in finding out more about our organization. Many of the useful features for leaders and advisors found in Just 4 Girls will now be found in Girl Scout Central. a.. Please note, the Graphics Gallery and Girl Scout Service Mark will no longer be available on the public Web site. Clip art for use by Girl Scout councils will be made available at a later date on a seperate site. When the new Girl Scout Web site launches, be sure to visit the links under "What's New" on the home page for an overview of some of the new features of the site. As you can see, we have a lot to celebrate as we move forward into 2004. Enjoy the rest of your summers and have fun touring the new site!
