Narraticong
Please listen carefully to the words of "Louie, Louie" by the Kingsmen. The proper pronunciation of the admonition is found in the third verse. Clear as day. By the way, how many native Lenape speakers are around? In all the years I lived in New Jersey, I can not think of having heard of any. Ken

eghiglie
I too worried about this, but when our Lodge had training for Brotherhood they covered it all. At my ordeal a few words were whispered in my right ear, which has lost some hearing range.
John-in-KC
The Admonition is definitely, positively: "DB Cooper, you are a friend of mine." geekster: I take it you've lost the Arrow again?

Geekster, we have indeed been messing with you. But we all love you and we hope you love us, too!' They're still very much culturally intact in Oklahoma. Matter of fact, he even taught me some inappropriate Lenape words that could not be used for vigil names or in Scouting conversations!
