scoutermama
Our troop always sells more than its share of popcorn, but we are looking for extra opportunities for our boys to fund their own way to Jamboree. I have the unit money-making application and the accompanying 8 rules... Can someone tell me if there are rules regarding how many fund raisers can done within a 12 month period? I was told only one event per year. Can this be true?
evmori
As far as I know, there is no limit to the number of fundraisers you can hold in one year.
MissingArrow
There is not a set number of allowed fundraisers per year. As long as you can meet the "Guides to Unit-Money Earning Projects" found on the back of the "Unit Money Earning Application" you are okay. You can find it here: (for other people who stumble upon this thread) http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34427.pdf
scoutermama
Thank you evmori and MissingArrow. I appreciate your very prompt reply. I hope to fire up the boys to begin fund raising in earnest!
scoutldr
Just make sure you have the approval of your Chartering Organization (CO), so you don't conflict with their plans or policies.
