SeattlePioneer
From another discussion board: The Secret Service scandal was discovered when a disagreement on how much a prostitute wanted for her services came to light. She wanted $800.00. The Secret Service Agent offered $30.00. How ironic is it that the only person in Washington trying to cut spending gets fired? Trevorum
First I've heard of the values. Strange, I thought aggressive bargaining was expected in those places...
moosetracker
Maybe, but the time to bargin is before you take the merchandise home with you. For what it ended up costing him, I bet the $800 now seems like it would have been a bargin if he had paid it.

scoutingagain
I will admit I have learned alot participating on these forums. All kinds of scouting insights and some political/social insights as well. Never in a million years would I have expected to learn about the going rates for certain...uh services in Columbia. SA
eisely
Somehow the name of the agency now seems an oxymoron.

John-in-KC
I think the actual difference was $47. Right now I will bet every other Agent wants to have a blanket party with the guy. Of course, with Big O's new rule about max $500K for conferences, a lot of his trips shouldn't happen. I don't think you can get the President in motion for less than $1 million. ;-)
