SeattlePioneer
I suppose everyone is cool with paying the bill for my medical marijuana, supplies and legal bills for when I get arrested as part of Obamacare?
Jay K
WOW! I haven't laughed this hard in weeks. Thank You! Wait: Is pulled abdominal muscles covered?
scoutingagain
"Wait: Is pulled abdominal muscles covered? " Only if the injury occurred during an intimate moment with your legally married opposite gender spouse in an attempt to procreate. In all other circumstances you maybe on your own based on the moral interpretations of your actions by the government, your house of worship, your boss, your neighbor or super PAC. SeattlePioneer
I protest! I just checked my mailbox and STILL no Gas Stamps to cover the fuel costs of my 17 foot powerboat that gets 1 MPG.
scoutingagain
SP that's why you need to be one of those poor sailors without a GPS or roller furler. I have to deliberately make an effort to burn through 20 Gals of diesel by the end of the season to make sure I get a reasonable amount of fresh fuel in the tank for the next year. Novice_Cubmaster
Wow - I haven't laughed this hard since my son was 3 years old, and his surgical and hospital bills hit my health plan's 1+ million dollar lifetime cap. Thanks to the "Katie Beckett" medicaid deeming waiver, he got the medical care he needed - and we didn't have to move into a cardboard box. Keep in mind, my witty friend, in health & finance - most Americans are only 2 circumstances away from being well & truly fouled up beyond repair. sailingpj
I take offense at the idea that just because a boat has a sail it is easy to sail. I challenge any of you to get out on a laser and sail against me all day. No namby pamby row boating wuss could do this for 5-8 hours a day: http://performancesailinggear.com/images/SEA/Laser%20sailing%20bre1.jpg Or this: http://spinerphotospot.co.cc/images/Cats/laser-sailing-boat.jpg Or this: http://www.sailing.org.ph/tlyc/hobie/PSAsm1.jpg And are you really going to tell me that this is easy? http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc11/d0uglass/eb01525d8c.jpg I know everyone on these boats would meet the weight standards of the BSA. http://youtu.be/4-PpU8MUbHE Compare those to this: http://whitehallrow.com/sshow/boatshot-new.jpg Or this: http://pidge2571.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/fat-man-boat.jpg I say the sail boating is a lot better. scoutingagain
NC, Very glad your son was taken care of and your not in a cardboard box. Seriously. Thankfully I live in the Peoples Commonwealth of Massachusetts where 98% of our population is covered by some form of health insurance due to the foresight of our former leader, Comrade Mitt Romney. OldGreyEagle
I have to ask, particularly after seeing this morning that Arizona wants to pass a law that employers dont have to cover contraceptives if they feel doing so is against their moral beliefs. Coverage wouldnt be denied, the employee would have to explain why they were needed Does anyone know if Viagra or any of the medications that treat ED (Erectile Dysfunction) are covered by Medicare or other Insurance Carriers? WHat about your state Medicaid, do they cover Viagra? I wonder why this hasnt been asked before
scoutingagain
The Arizona law does not go far enough. Only "Declared" pregnancies should be covered. i.e A legally married couple of two different genders would have to submit a notarized declaration to their employer, insurance company and the state that their next intimate encounter will be performed specifically for the purpose of procreation for the pregancy to be covered. The encounter must occur within 48 hours of submission of the "Declaration to procreate". All other encounters would clearly be simply recreational and should be be covered. No reason why the government, insurance companies, taxpayers or other premium payers should have to financially support those that engage in recreational intimacy. Only a socialist would think otherwise. SA
