SMT376Richmond KY
Our new Troop recently participated in a cultural awareness program that involved a puppet/muppet show. In which the characters puppet/muppets were children of different ethinic orgins. The Scouts loved it and the puppet/muppeters really get into thier parts. In fact, one of the puppet/muppets asked the boys what he needed to do tho join the Troop. The boys all loved this and decided at the PLC that they wanted to have this one puppet/muppet join the Troop as an actual Scout mascot. Is this possiable? evmori
We have a mascot. It's a log with a wig & subglasses. He is the Keeper of the Fire! Ed Mori Scoutmaster Troop 1 1 Peter 4:
SMT376Richmond KY
Neat idea. I like the keeper of the fire. This Muppet is 11 years old actully has a sleeping bag and back pack. The boys are wild about him. His counterpart indicated that he'd love to come camping with the Troop etc. That "Dan" would love it his alter ego really gets into the part. One of the boys found a small Scout shirt sz 12 at a thrift store for the Muppet. I think we should do it. "Dan's" alter ego said she would be happy to register him/her if need be.
