GernBlansten
Pack, I'll hike anywhere with anyone. But really, if you've never experienced the falls in Havasu, you really don't know what a waterfall can be. Envision a tight canyon with red sandstone walls rising 3000 ft on either side. At the bottom is an aqua blue river (I mean really bright blue) tumbling over travertine encrusted cliffs into deep aquamarine pools rimmed by calcium dammed ridges. Cottonwood trees line the pool edges creating an oasis of life in an otherwise desert landscape. http://artfiles.art.com/images/-/John-Gavrilis/Havasu-Falls-Grand-Canyon-Print-C10049702.jpeg
