scottteng
That was a wonderful story from Iraq. Too bad it will not get wide media exposure.
Gonzo1
Thanks Packsaddle, Goes to show you the kind of bias in the media. This story will never get air time on "regular" TV news. I hope your cousin returns home safely. G
Herms
Just got back from there myself. Lots of really good things (ie new schools and roads) happening there which are not making the news.

GernBlansten
Perhaps the good news isn't getting out because so many journalists are being killed there: 124. Compared to World War II: 68 World War I: 2 Not much good news coming out of those wars either. http://www.cpj.org/Briefings/Iraq/Iraq_danger.html
BrentAllen
Interesting numbers. Of the 124, only 2 (two) have been from the United States, so I find it hard to believe this would be the cause for the lack of good news being reported here in the states. No, the MSM knows that good news from Iraq is bad for Democrats and good for Republicans.
Gonzo1
Brent, How right you are. Besides, I think one of the two American journalists was from NBC who actually died from a deep vein thrombosis, a blood clot that travelled from his thigh to his a lung and that's what killed him. packsaddle
Thanks Gonzo, I'm not sure when he's done with his tour but if he sends any more of these things I'll pass them on. I get stuff second hand through his family.
