ehcalum
My council will not be holding Wood Badge till April 06 due to the Jamboree. Two neighborhood councils are holding the course April and May of this year. What do you all think of attending or trying to attend a neighborhooding coucils course instead of yuor own home council? Thanks!
EagleInKY
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's similar to going to another district that is offering training you need when your district isn't offering it. The down side, as I see it, is what you'll miss from the brotherhood aspect of it. When I go to any council event, I run into others from my course, either participants or staff. It's a brotherhood that seems to last a long time. You'll miss that perspective of it. Eamonn
As a rule the host council will invite some people from the other councils to be staff members. So the chances are that you will have some people you know on the course. The important thing is that you go. Eamonn
