Plowboy
Our Cubmaster is done this February as his Webelos cross over. I'm helping his den with an "honorary arrow" to acknowledge and commemorate his dedication to his boys throughout their Cub Scout career. He's been a great leader at the den and pack level. We're going to miss him. Each turks head knot represents the four ranks (sans Bobcat, which I could add, I guess): Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos. The fifth knot represents CubMaster. Enjoy! https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/374658_3104276932214_1422981919_3340704_1401297119_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/388898_3104277292223_1422981919_3340705_117535490_n.jpg
rjscout
As a former CM, now with my son's troop, I like it!
Plowboy
I got the idea of the honorary arrow from a University of Scouting session I attended this Fall. They had mentioned honorary arrows for parents, leaders, or mentors who played a significant role in the Scouting life of the boys.

ZScout5
Very nice! Wish I had seen it sooner and could have gotten something like this together for our outgoing CM of nearly 7 years. Instead we nominated him for the Unit Leader Award of Merit and it was awarded at a pack meeting.
