when can you start working on arrow of light

Snow White, he is officially a Webelos. Having den meetings is not a requirement to his being a Webelos. It is not the Scout's fault if their are no den meetings. If he is a registered member of a Webelos den, and that den does nothing all summer, then he is being as active as he can be.

 

Bottom line, the summer months count for time as a Webelos, no matter how "active" the entire den is.

Yep according to national, "active" = registered.

I know, but the Webelos handbook specifically states "Be an active member of your Webelos den for three months. (Active means having good attendance, paying your den dues, and working on den projects.)"

 

So maybe the rules are more stringent for Webelos than for Eagles? :-)

Well my son who will be a webelo is going to two day camps and a Resident camp over the summer....So does that mean he is active. I expect him to have all of the activity pins earned for his AOL by the time the rest of the Pack starts in the Fall.
