eghiglie
Its also a great physics lesson. There are college up in Pennslyvania that use PWD cars to teach physics to college freshman. A local high school uses the mousetrap racers to teach the subject to HS juniors. I tried to teach some of the math to my sons, my 10 year old doesn't get the math (yet). The 16 year old, who took physics in HS, understood it.
Lisabob
I often use PWD data to teach statistics (is one lane on the track really faster or slower than the others? - that sort of thing). Students love it. Too bad I don't have time to have them build their own cars.
Lynda J
What if you start wood buring the date into the cars. I know of a couple of packs that do this. The rule is that the car must be made in the year of the PWD. This way the car from the previours years can not be used.
