If I remember my training right. The reason alochol isn't allowed is that in the past many leaders would get drunk on campouts and would not be able to supervise the youth properly. after a few accidents at campouts where youth were unsupervised the policy became no alcohol at all.

 

Just goes to prove that few horrible people do ruin it for everyone else.

You must always to remember to look at what you are doing through the eyes of a child. Then you will know if you are truely having a good time or a rotten time.

 

I'm sure you will make a great addition to the council and the troop.
