Locust Fork Leader
One of the requirements of the 75th anniversary is for the boys to draw an illustration of the US Flag as it looked in 1930 (Requirement #5). Do any of you know where I can find a picture of that? I have not a clue what it is supposed to looked like. Thanks for any information. I have found that this group is really good at finding what I need. :-) Tracy
jw_elder77
The flag is use in 1930 was the 48 star flag. You can find an illustration of one at http://www.usflag.org/the.48.star.flag.html. John
Torveaux
jw is right. Only Alaska and Hawaii had not been admitted by that time. The stars are laid out 8 across and 6 deep. We used this in a Den Meeting as a fun project. The boys really liked it and we got to talk about the flag in detail.
