Sdriddle
Could someone please enlighten me on something? I am the new Tiger Den Leader of 8 Boys after just finishing up Webelos with my other son. I was putting the lacing on the new belt totems and was trying to figure out just how you are supposed to "affix" the Tiger Badge to it in the "recessed area". That is the instructions. Most boys would be upset if it fell off and was lost and the pack isn't going to want to pay for two badges for the same boy (One for totem and one for blue shirt after the first one is ruined by glueing it to the plastic totem.) Any suggestions before this really becomes an issue? Sheila Besides this I am very pleased with the new Tiger Program.
Twocubdad
Our Tiger badges were peel and stick and were no problem afixing to the totems. Of course that meant they had to be sewn, not ironed, to the uniform. If for some reason you have a batch that must be glued to the totem, try hot glue, but first rough-up the space on the diamond with sand paper for a better bite. Sdriddle
Peel and stick tiger badges.... who would have thought.... The built in glue on the badges doesn't damage the shirt after a while does it? Sheila
Twocubdad
Doesn't seem to, but we've had it sewn on the new blue uniform for only a week or two now. I'll let you know.
tdyer56
Yes, Peel and stick. I found that the sticky back actually helps hold it onto the shirt while sewing it on. And yesy it eventually washes off, without damaging the shirt. Tim Dyer
scottsmom121
Just a little tip. When they go to take the patch off the totem do it very carefully. We had several this past year literallly come apart when they tried to remove them. Some of the stitching just let go and they unraveled.
