tagguy
Looking at these for 2010,but still open for any other suggestions.Travelwise,Bayport is the closest, and Powhatan is about 3X the distance. Going to Brady Saunders this year. Want a different camp for next year.Have older and new scouts.
scoutldr
Bayport has all new facilities, which is nice. We were impressed with the contracted-out dining hall (A/C), real bathrooms and private showers in each site. If your older guys are aquatic-minded, the Rivah Base is a great program. Nike
My son is going back for a second year at the Claytor Lake program at Powhatan. He loved it last year and said they had very good food.
Eagle1973
Tag, hey, you're from Southern Maryland, get your troop away from the humidity and mosquitos, go to Powhatan, not Bayport. I've never been to the other.
