Dedicated Dad
Vancouver, [WA], Recycle those cartridges Vancouver Boy Scout Troop No. 48 wants your old inkjet printer cartridges. In a combined effort to help the environment (more than 1 million of the inkjet cartridges are simply tossed into landfills each year) and a way to raise funds for the troop, the Boy Scouts are collecting the cartridges to be recycled. You can drop off the cartridges at the Battle Ground Fred Meyer, 401 N.W. 12th Ave. There's a collection center in the electronics department, or you can call troop committee member Kathi Hollister at 360-896-3768 for a collection center near you.
