LauraT7
how about a weekend canoe trip on the Wisconsin River? We just got back from an AWESOME weekend of canoeing and camping out on the sandbars on the lower Wisconsin River. We slept under the stars, with a moon so bright it actually kept us awake! We floated, paddled and swam in the river, explored lots of islands, ate sand-crunchy food and got sunburned a little - it was GREAT!

eagle90
While not a "typical" High Adventure trip, we just returned from a week of Houseboating on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. Our scouts spent the week fishing, swimming, piloting a 70 foot boat, cooking, exploring the shore, sunning, and generally relaxing. This was our "easy" year. Next year we get back to rafting, canoeing, etc.
hops_scout
Sounds good.... I dont really mean a trip for a week or more carrying everything you need with your own strength like backpacking, canoeing, etc Right now, I am looking for reports of recent trips other than basic camping... Though, I could use information about the campsite such as location, price, etc for the camping and hiking page.
