eagle90
Just for everyone's information, I ordered custom made numerals with the anniversary year included from National. They arrived in three weeks. I was quoted 6-8 weeks!
GKlose
I've been custom ordering for a couple years...for one thing, with the separate numerals, the font of the digit "2" does not match the other digits. So our troop number, "82", looks ridiculous when it is separate numerals. Really -- you can see it on Scoutstuff.org! They don't match! And they haven't matched since the new numerals were introduced with the Centennial uniform, some 3 years ago. The other thing is that the price of a custom-made two-digit patch is about the same as buying the single digits from the local Scout Shop. ScoutBox
I saved 4 bucks when I ordered through a non-scoutting dot org site our units number patches. A scout is thrifty. Anyway, I don't like the single number patches, and like you said they are exencive to buy that way.
