ASMJimT941
BSA did a good job with the cotton Centennial cargo uniform pants. I wanted to get a synthetic uniform for rain and snow and the Scoutshop said they redesigned the synthetic again. The shirt seems okay, except the shoulder tabs are way too far back and the vent is a little funny. The strange thing is the cargo pants...they decided to put the pockets on the front rather than the side. Needless to say, if you put anything of size in them they are very annoying during a hike. Does anyone know the correct contact at BSA headquarters to provide feedback? Jim
SeattlePioneer
I went to the Scout Shop yesterday to buy some new uniform pants. I didn't like the zip on/off pants, so I left buying nothing. I checked out pants on Ebay ---- nothing for me yesterday. I'll keep shopping.
kd7kip
Jim- I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the epaulets were in an odd spot-- at first I thought I might have purchased a women's shirt as the cut seemed a bit off. The Velcro for the vent seems useless as well. Nevertheless, not a bad shirt. I'm please with the pants-- I bought the cotton ones and they seem fine (though they make everyone look kind of sloppy). -Scott
Tampa Turtle
I noticed the same thing on one of the new guys shirts. I would not like front pockets.
