bigbovine
Life-Scout-Ldr, the Troop my boys are in pretty much only wear Uniform Shirt during Flag raising and other "important" activities, otherwise it is the Activity Shirt. I do wish they wore the Uniform Shirt more often, but as they say, the boys have decided on this. But at least they are identified. That is really my only major thing to say about uniforming of any type. If you are proud of what you represent, show who you are with. Whether Activity or Uniform Shirt is worn, at least you are "Identifiable" to the public. Even if it is a regular old BSA shirt of some kind, at least you will be seen as being part of the Scouts. I would even go as far as saying it would suffice to get a cheap T-Shirt and putting something as simple as BSA on it.
